Hi, I'm Mert. I have been building software professionally for about seven years, mostly high-traffic backend services, PostgreSQL and Kubernetes.

My favourite kind of work is finding the real cause behind a system that slows down or fails intermittently. Most of my writing comes from those moments: once I solve something, I write it down for my future self.

Day to day I write Go, TypeScript and SQL. On the infrastructure side I work with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform and AWS.
